Yaara Keydar
Dr. Ya'ara Keydar is a fashion historian and curator whose work explores the stories clothes tell. Her exhibitions at Design Museum Holon include "The Ball: Fashion and Escapism," "Alber Elbaz: The Dream Factory" and "Heroines: Fashion and Hope in World War II." She holds a PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.A. in Costume Studies from NYU and a B.A. in Fashion Design from Shenkar. Her 2026 book, "The Scandal Dress of Madame X: And Other Stories on Fashion and Art," explores the connections between fashion, art and the lives behind them. At Fashion Week, Keydar invites audiences behind the scenes of "Je t'aime, Ronit Elkabetz," the exhibition she curated at Design Museum Holon. Through the actress's clothing, accessories and shoes, she reveals a wardrobe that became a unique archive of memories, offering an intimate look at Elkabetz's life and cinematic work.
