Gideon and Karen Oberson

Italian-born Gideon Oberson studied haute couture in Paris before revolutionizing Israeli fashion. Founded The Round House studio in 1968 and pioneered luxury swimwear. His controversial 1987 campaign sparked national debate. Served as Gottex chief designer, received lifetime achievement award, and collaborated with daughter Karen throughout his influential 57-year career.
